Farm Bureau will hold child seat check at Science Museum

RICHMOND—Virginia Farm Bureau will hold a free child safety seat check from 5 to 9 p.m. on July 20 at the Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 W. Broad St.

“Installing a child safety seat correctly can seem like a daunting task for parents and caregivers,” said Jimmy Maass, Farm Bureau’s safety manager. “This is a great opportunity to have a certified technician check your seat for proper fit, recalls and other issues.”

Staff from the Virginia Department of Health’s Division of Prevention and Health Promotion will perform bike helmet fittings that evening at the museum as well.

Contact Maass at 804-290-1379.
