Farm Bureau members help generate policies

Farm Bureau policies begin at the county level, sometimes introduced by a single individual. Policies evolve through Farm Bureau’s policy development channels, which include a Resolutions Meeting on Nov. 2 and the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention Nov. 27-29.

The approved policies most accurately reflect the consensus of farm leaders from all corners of Virginia and will most widely affect the state’s farming community.

Critical issues important to farmers are being discussed this month. Those critical issues that will be presented to members of the 2019 General Assembly will be unveiled in early November. For updates on issues important to farmers, please visit https://plowsandpolitics.com.
