Farm Bureau Live Lawn Named After Contest Winner

Jeff Reynolds of Norfolk is the winner of Virginia Farm Bureau's initial “Name the Lawn” contest. The grand prize: the lawn seating area of Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach is named in his honor for the entire 2012 concert season. Reynolds also wins two season passes to the concert venue, premium parking, VIP Club access and a riding lawn mower.

“I was really surprised and excited to receive the phone call telling me I had won,” said Reynolds. “I thank Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance for creating such great contests and the other ways they show appreciation for their policyholders.”

Reynolds was randomly selected from more than 3,000 entrants to the three-week contest. Signs bearing “Welcome to the Jeff Reynolds Lawn” will be placed at the top and bottom of the lawn seating area.

“One of our biggest priorities is to find ways to become connected to our local communities in Virginia, and we thought this would be a fun way to do just that,” said Matt Smith, director of marketing for Virginia Farm Bureau. “In fact, this promotion has been so successful we're going to do it again for the 2013 season.”

The 2013 contest has launched and concert-goers can click the Name the Lawn link here to sign up for the contest.
