Virginia’s port system affords the state’s farm and forestry producers ready access to the global marketplace, and we share a look at that system in the November issue of Virginia Farm Bureau News.

The magazine is mailed quarterly to Virginia Farm Bureau producer members, and this month's issue also features Virginia's forestry industry and articles on new farm-oriented insurance coverage options.

Associate members, your next issue of Cultivate magazine will arrive in February 2019. Current and back issues of both magazines can be viewed online.

Real Virginia, Virginia Farm Bureau’s weekly television program, will explain why dairy farmers dispute calling plant-based beverages “milk.” The show also will share how creation of a second veterinary school in Virginia is already benefitting livestock farmers. And we’ll show you heirloom breeds of cattle – raised by Virginia colonists – that are alive and well in the 21st century.

Real Virginia can be viewed online and airs nationwide at 3:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month on RFD-TV on Dish Network and DirecTV, and on selected cable outlets around the state. It airs weekly on WVPT Harrisonburg, WBRA Roanoke, WCVE Richmond, WHRO Norfolk, WVVA Bluefield and WTKR Norfolk.
