Virginia Farm Bureau’s most recent member magazine was published with your senses in mind!

Associate members’ August issue of Cultivate includes some sweet and surprising watermelon and cantaloupe recipes and a colorful look at Virginia’s growing craft cider and cut flower industries. On Real Virginia, Virginia Farm Bureau’s weekly television program, you can learn about Virginia apple season and craft cideries; meander along the Virginia Oyster Trail; find out how farmers are making a difference for Hunters for the Hungry; and get a look at what’s growing in the agricultural powerhouse that is Southampton County.

Real Virginia can be viewed online and airs nationwide at 3:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month on RFD-TV on Dish Network and DirecTV, and on selected cable outlets around the state. It airs weekly on WVPT Harrisonburg, WBRA Roanoke, WCVE Richmond, WHRO Norfolk, WVVA Bluefield and WTKR Norfolk.
