AMELIA COURT HOUSE—The annual Virginia Grain Producers Association Small Grains Field Day will take place May 18 at Featherstone Farm Seed, 13941 Genito Road in Amelia County.

The event will include field plot tours of wheat varieties, as well as information on small grain forage variety evaluation, malting barley varieties and management, and weed control, disease and insect management in small grains. Also on the agenda are updates from industry leaders and a presentation on the new Proximity Malt facility.
