Ginger, turmeric field day planned at VSU

ETTRICK—Virginia Cooperative Extension will hold a field day focused on production, marketing, harvesting, cleaning and packaging of ginger and turmeric Nov. 10 at Virginia State University’s Randolph Farm, 4415 River Road near Petersburg.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon and will feature a culinary demonstration and roundtable grower discussion. Registration is $10.
