Don’t miss captivating canine and cowboy contests

If you’re itching for adventure after being cooped up inside all winter, make The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County your next destination.

From kennel club clusters to cowboy mounted shooting, March’s calendar is loaded with exciting spectacles for all ages.

The Langley Kennel Club and Virginia Beach Kennel Club’s “Virginia Spring Fling” is scheduled for March 20-23. Dog lovers can marvel at a variety of unique and popular breeds, interact with breeders and handlers, and find their next canine companion. Visit the Langley KC website for more information.

Rodeo fans can look forward to the 1st Virginia CMSA Cowboy Mounted Shooting competition March 22-23. This action-packed event will feature horseback riders shooting balloons with revolvers, long rifles and shotguns while running a course. Rounding out the month will be the Maryland Blue Crab Cluster Dog Show from March 27-30.
