Oyster chowder heats up dinner options

Oyster Chowder

4 tablespoons chopped onions
3 tablespoons butter
12-ounce can oysters, liquid reserved
4 cups boiled potatoes, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup corn
4 cups scalded milk
2 tablespoons flour


Fry onion in butter until lightly browned, add oysters and liquid. Add potatoes, salt, pepper, corn and milk, and bring to a boil. Mix flour with water to make a smooth paste, and add to the chowder. Stir gently until it thickens.
