Cap off summer with concerts, clusters and cowboy contests

There’s still time to soak in the season’s sunshine, and The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County is the place to be for end-of-summer amusement.

Located at 13191 Dawn Blvd. in Caroline County, The Meadow Event Park is hosting a variety of family-friendly fun this August, including ongoing Atlantic Union Bank After Hours Concerts with new artists each month.

August’s concert series includes:


  • Aug. 17: Cole Swindell
     
  • Aug. 24: Chris Young
     
  • Aug. 25: Travis Tritt
     
  • Aug. 31: KC and The Sunshine Band

Those looking for four fun-filled days with furry friends won’t want to miss the Celebrate Virginia Cluster Aug. 22-25, which will feature Northern Neck Kennel Club shows on Thursday and Friday and Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club on Saturday and Sunday. Spirited sporting spectacles are a summer staple at The Meadow Event Park, and the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association is capping off the season with Cowboy Mounted Shooting Aug. 31-Sept. 1. For more information, contact cmsa1stvirginia@gmail.com.
