On Real Virginia: Food banks receiving steady flow of fresh milk

Specify Alternate Text
This month on Real Virginia, Virginia Farm Bureau’s weekly television program, you can learn how the state’s agricultural community is making sure food banks have plenty of fresh milk.

You also can get the facts on cheesemaking and Virginia-made cheeses, and see how greenhouse-grown herbs meet a year-round demand. The show also visits Prince William County, where agriculture is alive and well just outside the nation’s capital.

Real Virginia can be viewed online and airs nationwide at 3:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month on RFD-TV on Dish Network and DirecTV, and on selected cable outlets around the state. It airs weekly on WVPT Harrisonburg, WBRA Roanoke, WCVE Richmond, WHRO Norfolk, WVVA Bluefield and WTKR Norfolk.

If you are a Virginia Farm Bureau associate member, your February issue of Cultivate magazine should arrive soon. Producer members, your next issue of Virginia Farm Bureau News magazine will be published in April. Current and back issues of both magazines can be viewed online.
