The deadline to enter Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s 2025 Journalism Awards competition is almost here, and media professionals must submit their completed applications by 4 p.m. Aug. 22.

Submissions should include agricultural news published or broadcast between Aug. 24, 2024, and Aug. 22, 2025.

Entry forms and program guidelines are available through VFBF’s online newsroom. There is no fee to participate.

The program is in its 38th year, and it recognizes exemplary ongoing coverage of agricultural issues, practices and events by print, radio and television news operations and podcasts.

Winners will be recognized at the 2025 VFBF Annual Convention in Williamsburg. Award recipients will be notified prior to the event.
